Chateau Grand Tayac, 2010, Margaux
Critic Score: 16.5 Points Jancis Robinson.
A seductive Margaux made from a single plot planted in 1962. The old vines give extra concentration to the already rich wine. It also shows considerable high-toast wood-aging flavours that have softened into the black-currant fruits. It is aromatic, with a core of tannins from the 70% Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend.
